‘STRIVING FOR EQUESTRIAN EQUILIBRIUM,… HARMONY BETWEEN HORSE & RIDER…’
From equestrians at both international and national levels, to local riding club hero’s within the Midlands and Warwickshire area. We work with a range of both professional and amateur riders and their horses, fighting to optimise athletic performance, and legislate against sporting injury.
Promoting a standard of clinical excellence in evidence-informed equine care from our Henley In Arden, Warwickshire clinic, and our Birmingham Clinic. Our Veterinary Chiropractic Faculty is run by Doctor of Chiropractic, Chloe Cashmore of Balance and Motion.
WHAT IS VETERINARY CHIROPRACTIC?
Chiropractic is the world third largest primary healthcare profession after Medicine and Dentistry.
Veterinary Chiropractic or Equine Chiropractic is a primary health care profession concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disorders of the neuromusculoskeletal system of both horse and rider, and the effects of these disorders on general health.
OUR MODERN & EVIDENCE-BASED APPROACH TO BOTH HORSE & RIDER…
Our renowned results and clinical outcomes have been achieved by taking a multi-faceted and evidence-based approach to rider and horse evaluation, looking to identify clinical risk factors which may be preventing a rider or their hose from performing at the very peak of their game, reaching the pinnacle of their professional or amateur career, or even increasing their risk of injury.
We work along side a number of riding clubs, but increasingly with jockeys wanting an impartial opinion, held in the strictest of confidence from their club.
That said, our equine chiropractor mostly works with leisure riders looking to maximise enjoyment of their most loved past-time, or address a specific injury or concern that either they, or their horse is suffering from.
CONSULTATION & TREATMENT FOR EQUESTRIANS
We begin by taking a thorough history of any complaint that you may have, as well as a full past medical history, family history and history of other factors which can influence the genesis of such a complaint.
This will be followed by a comprehensive physical examination consisting of: orthopaedic, neurological, postural, and gait evaluation. It is this thorough approach to examination that allows us to identify the factors that are contributing to the development and the continuation of your pain or injury.
If further testing (i.e Blood tests) or investigative imaging (i.e An MRI scan, CT scan, Ultrasound scan, or X-ray) is required, our equine chiropractor can refer you swiftly and efficiently to an appropriate specialist for such investigation.
CONSULTATION CAN TAKE PLACE AT EITHER OF OUR BEAUTIFUL CLINICS

CONSULTATION & TREATMENT FOR HORSES

Consultation occurs at the site where your horse is stabled, and not at either of our clinical facilities.
