FREE HEALTHCARE ADVICE FOR THOSE
SUFFERING WITH PAIN OR INJURY.
WHY OUR COMPLIMENTARY ADVICE SERVICE?
Diagnosis of a pain or injury
Investigation / examination of a pain or injury
Treatment / management options
Exercise, rehabilitation and training
Returning to work or a sport following an accident / injury or surgery
This year, 1 in 5 people within the UK will suffer a pain or injury that lasts for longer than 3-months. Despite having undergone various tests & examinations, with numerous clinicians; it’s our experience that many patients fail to receive an adequate diagnosis of their pain or injury. Thereafter, patients often fail to receive adequate and consistent guidance regarding the treatment / management of their pain and / or injury. We’re often told by patients that they feel like they’ve been syphoned through a system; pushed from clinician to clinician, test to test, treatment to treatment without any real direction or rationale. We feel that there is a clear need for the more comprehensive management of patients suffering with pain and / or injury within the UK. Our free at the point of access advice service is something that we felt compelled to establish in order to answer this need.
WHAT IS OUR COMPLIMENTARY ADVICE SERVICE?
You will see and speak to a clinician via a video conference or telephone call (dependant upon your preference). If you have ever used Zoom, Skype or FaceTime, then you’ll already be familiar with how video conferencing works.
These remote consultations give you the opportunity to speak with a qualified Chiropractor (or Podiatrist) free-of-charge, and without having to attend either of our clinics; ensuring you get the right advice and support you need to help facilitate your recovery. Most consultations can take place via our secure platforms called Cliniko and PhysiApp. Alternatively, we can accommodate appointments via telephone, Apple Facetime, Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp, or Skype.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A CALL.
A SHORT CLINICAL HISTORY OF YOUR COMPLAINT.
We take all patients through a brief clinical and past-medical history, in order to help us get an idea of a working diagnosis and differential diagnoses of your condition.
ADVICE REGARDING FURTHER INVESTIGATION / EXAMINATION OF YOUR COMPLAINT.
This may include advice to consult with certain clinicians, seek further investigation such as blood tests or procure investigative imaging such as an MRI scan. If we feel that we can help you, we will offer you a face-to-face appointment at the clinic or a telehealth consultation. If we feel you would be better served by a clinician external to our clinic, we can provide you with their details.
ADVICE ON PROCURING A DIAGNOSIS, PROGNOSIS, & TREATMENT.
We’ll let you know how you might go about procuring:
A Diagnosis of your complaint: What it is and what’s causing it…
A Prognosis of your case: How it’s expected to progress / develop, or, how long it will take to get better…
An appropriate Treatment / management plan. Should we deem ourselves suitable for the management of your complaint, we will inform you of:
What we can do to help.
What you'll be able to do, in order to help yourself.
What results you can expect.
The rate at which you can expect these results.
Of course, remote or virtual appointments do not allow for all aspects of examination: Sometimes further physical examination, special tests such as blood tests, and investigative imaging such as an X-ray, may need to be carried out by a qualified healthcare professional before adequate recommendation can be made. However, this can be discussed in full during your Complimentary Advice Service call, and onward referral can be arranged.
ADVICE ON EXERCISE, REHABILITATION & TRAINING.
Although the limited scope of our advice service will not allow us to prescribe specific exercises, we may be able to advise you on which formats of exercise you should or shouldn’t be considering at your stage of recovery.
If following a call with us, it is deemed appropriate for you to arrange an appointment with us, your Chiropractor (or Podiatrist) will be able to offer access to 4200+ crystal-clear, fully narrated exercise videos, delivered straight to your smartphone, computer or printer.
Benefit from thousands of peer-reviewed telerehabilitation exercises and activities in areas such as Orthopaedics, Neurology, Paediatrics, Cardiology and Women’s Health.
ADVICE ON RETURNING TO WORK OR A SPORT FOLLOWING AN ACCIDENT, INJURY OR SURGERY.
A major part of long term recovery from pain or injury is the development of a patient’s knowledge and understanding around their complaint, and how they should go about managing it. Through our advice service, we might help you navigate the next-steps of returning to work, sport hobbies etc.
WHY CALL OUR COMPLIMENTARY ADVICE SERVICE
Access to the appropriate care pathway within the National Health Service (NHS) can often prove time consuming, complicated, and frustrating. Our complimentary advice service is designed to offer members of the public the opportunity for consultation about their pain or injury, but without the delays that patients typically face within the NHS. However, much like the NHS, we are proud to deliver this service free at the point of access.
WHO IS THE COMPLIMENTARY ADVICE SERVICE FOR?
If you are unsure as to whether to attend the clinic for a physical appointment, or consult with us online via Telehealth, our Complimentary Advice Service is a great way to find out about the services we offer, completely free of charge.
It’s also a great way to gain insight into an appropriate care pathway for your complaint, and plan your next steps towards recovery; whether that be under our care, via the NHS, or through another provider altogether.
If you are unable to attend the clinic for your appointment you may benefit from our Complimentary Remote Advice Service. We highly recommend the service if:
You are self-isolating or social-distancing to the Corona Virus (COVID-19) pandemic. A Telehealth Appointment (Online Virtual Video Consultation) will allow you to access expert clinical care from the safety of your own home. Furthermore, you will not be adding further strain to an already struggling National Health Service (NHS).
You suffer with a physical disability / impairment that would make it difficult for you to attend one of our clinics in person. If this is the case, then we can bring the clinic to you.
You don’t live in a geographic location that is close to either of our clinics. Thankfully, no distance is too far with a Telehealth Appointment (Online Virtual Video Consultation).
HOW MUCH DOES THE ADVICE SERVICE COST?
In case you were in any doubt, our Complimentary Advice Service is completely free-of-charge.
WOULD A FACE-TO-FACE CONSULTATION BE OF GREATER BENEFIT?
Most probably… However, Our Complimentary Advice Service will allow a patient and clinician to have a brief overview of the same discussions that they would have face-to-face. Thereafter, sometimes further physical examination, special tests such as blood tests, and investigative imaging such as an X-ray, may need to be carried out by a qualified healthcare professional. However, this can be discussed in full during your call.
CAN A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER BE WITH ME DURING MY CALL?
Yes – certainly! If you are more comfortable having a friend or family member attend the appointment with you, please feel free to invite them. The more the merrier!
WHAT IF I AM HAVING TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES DURING MY CALL?
If you are uncomfortable using video conferencing such as Zoom, Skype or FaceTime, or if you experience any technical difficulties during your appointment please inform your Chiropractor (or Podiatrist) and they will be able to assist you right away. You may end your appointment at any time during the session.
HOW IS MY PRIVACY PROTECTED?
Your privacy is paramount. All calls take place in rooms that are also designed for in-person appointments. Your appointment takes place in real time and is not recorded. Physiapp is secure, encrypted and compliant…
GDPR compliant technology. BAA is included.
Audio and video encryption ensures that PHI remains secure.

Our modern, research driven approach to chiropractic patient care, allows us to carefully select and utilise the chiropractic and adjunctive physical rehabilitation (telerehabilitation) that will best achieve the results you want; in the shortest space of time, at the lowest possible cost, with minimal disruption to your life.

Research shows pain is a potent stressor on people’s lives that interferes with normal recovery and functioning. When pain is controlled, patients suffer less, sleep better and have more vitality to enjoy daily activities.
